Step 4 and step 5. Step 5 is 600  2" HST and 30 2" squares of the constant color. In this quilt, the constant is a green. My neutrals are the purple. Who would think purple would be neutral?  On to clue 6.

RRCB Step 3 Quilt 2 Purple Strings

Purple string blocks for Quilt 2. 7 down, 53 to go! I still need more variety in my purples, but I think it's going to work.   Jimmy giving the final inspection.

RRCB Step 3 Quilt 2

These are the neutrals for the RRCB Quilt 2. I'm still going to make the purple ones, but need a greater variety of purples to finish them. On to step 4!

Step 2 Quilt 2 RRCB Regular Cottons

These are my Step 2 for the regular cottons. I finished them last night and realized as I was pinning the last group together, I used the wrong color. The brown was supposed to be purple. I've decided to go with it and use my purples for my neutrals. At the last minute, I decided to use browns as my neutrals instead of creams.  It will be interesting to see how it turns out. At the very worst, the dogs will love it, if it turns out great, the dogs will still love it.

I found so many colors I liked in my stash I decided to make 2 quilts. one out of Batiks, the other, regular cottons.  As you can see, I had lots of help picking the colors and sewing.

Roll Roll Cotton Boll Fabrics

So far this is what I've decided to go with. Found some real deals at the Attic Window today. They were having a sale and I couldn't let go to waste.

With all the help I'm going to have, this might be more difficult than I thought.

Garden Maze Blocks

Where does the time go. Garden Maze block exchange on the top is half done.

Some of the  new fabrics for Bonnie Hunter's new mystery starting the middle of November,  "Roll, Roll, Cotton Boll".  I'll make the final decision on which colors when I know the yardage needed for the colors.

Who you lookin at?
HEREEEEE   CHICKIE  CHICKIE
I left the garage door open one day and came out to find some visitors from across the road in the garage.  They came over all summer to eat my flowers, dig in my flower beds and eat the seeds out of the low growing sun flowers.

Two Finishes!

It's been a busy year. Hope to keep up with my blog on a regular basis. These have been waiting for binding for at least a year. I'm on a roll, I've got another finished and one pinned and ready to finish.
