CELTIC SOLSTICE

Another Bonnie Hunter Mystery has started!  CELTIC  SOLSTICE.  The colors were influenced by Bonnie's trip to Ireland this year. This was my first choice.

This is what I ended up with 

I have Clue 1 almost finished and Clue 2 started. Those little chevrons from Clue 2 are going to be the death of me. I need 244 of them …….. I have 20 so far………… 

EASY STREET

It's been a while since posting anything quilty. Easy Street top is finished. Love the borders on this one. Getting ready to send out for quilting.

It is so large I had to put it out on the grass to take a picture of the entire thing. Now to find backing for it. 

EASY STREET LAYOUTS

 The first layout was a bust.......... Jimmy, designer with excellent taste.......

came up with this design.......... and the borders with a stripe final border.

EASY STREET BLOCK ASSEMBLY

These are the 4 blocks in the quilt. Assembling them is another matter.

I thought I had the main blocks finished...... sewing away, got them all lined up to push through the machine............... after the last one I look on the floor and there they are........ ALL OVER THE FLOOR.........

I ran out of bobbin thread after the first block and didn't see it.............

Technical Staff left the scene after the bobbin debacle......... they didn't want to be blamed.  

More sewing tomorrow. It's going to be a pretty quilt sewn together.
